Temple Bar

Where: 1688 Massachusetts Ave, Cambridge MA 02138
Meal: Dinner
Food Type: Modern American
For Who: Local flavor lovers with a vivacious atmosphere

Again, Temple does not disappoint. A friend and myself went to visit for his birthday. The martini's are excellent as is the service.

Menu excels with salads, exquisite barfood and a sampling of fresh fish and meats.

The bone in ribeye with blue cheese foccacia bread pudding and garlic chive butter was excellent. Steak was cooked to perfection and the bread pudding was something new and delightful. Any kind of butte gets my gastric juices flowing but the garlic chive was excellent on the steak.

For starters, Temple's perpetually good calamari was perfect as well.

Nice selection of after dinner drinks. Temple is a standby that is worth every penny.
