Casablanca restaurant harvard square
I walked towards Harvard Square by myself and turned on to Brattle St Harvard Square MA. Instead of descending and going to the Brattle Theatre, I continued to Casablanca, a North African influenced Spanish American restaurant.

Upon entering, I took in the dining area that included a long, curving, polished bar. I walked to the bar and asked if I could order food at the bar; "of course, would you like a menu?" Duhhh....

I ordered a delicious beer from Cambridge Brewing known as its' American Amber Ale. Fresh Italian bread and pita slices appeared with an extra virgin olive oil. My second beer arrived with the braised lamb shank..... mint couscous, sauteed spinach, Greek yogurt and spiced braising reduction.

Fantastic is all I have to say. Return to this one with your friends. On the pricier side but worth every dollar. Did I mention the delicious Rioja I had? Conde de Valdemar, Rioja, Spain, reserva....unbelievable. Too full to have desert, next time.
